About Fairhaven Business Partners
Most business owners meet funding trouble at the worst moment and get a sales pitch instead of an explanation. This site exists to be the explanation.
We write for the owner who was declined yesterday, who is dreading tomorrow's draft, who has three positions and no single sheet listing them, or who simply wants to be done. Each situation is laid out the same way: what it means, what to do first, every option with its honest cost.
We are paid by the funding partners in our network when a request we place funds, and we tell you so plainly. We are not paid when we point you to a bank, your existing funder, an attorney or a counselor — and we do that often, because it is often the right answer.
Guides are reviewed against current funder agreements and public sources, carry a published and an updated date, and never present a figure as an offer. If something here is out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
How we are paid
Fairhaven Business Partners is compensated by the funding partner when a request we place funds. You never pay us a fee to read, to ask, to receive options or to hear a no. We are not paid when we point you to a bank, your existing funder, an attorney or a nonprofit counselor, and we do that whenever it is the honest answer.
Our network
Fairhaven Business Partners works with an exclusive network of funding partners and marketing partners. When you submit a request, we may share your information with those partners to evaluate and present funding options. We do not sell your information for unrelated purposes.
How the guides are written
Every situation page starts with what to do first, before any product is named. Guides are checked against current funder agreements and public sources and reviewed for compliance before they are published: an advance is never called a loan, no figure is presented as an offer, every factor rate carries its APR-equivalent, and nothing promises approval. Guides carry a published date and an updated date; when products or law change, the guide changes. If you find something out of date, tell us at hello@fairhavenbusinesspartners.com.
